Peter Marsh Golf Day
Thursday 11th September saw us hold the Peter Marsh Golf Day, as usual, at Formby Golf Club the well known Championship course on the coast north of Liverpool. This is an annual event which been held for over twenty years.
This year there were 22 golfers - rather fewer than usual because of holidays. The long range forecast was poor but Formby lived up to its reputation for having a micro climate and we were yet again blessed with good weather.
The photograph shows Simon Marsh, the Chairman, presenting the Winner’s prize to Robert Hamilton who scored 43 points which is a phenomenal score around such a difficult course. In the middle is Dave Ewen our Sales Director who is in charge of running the day – and no mean golfer himself!
